The Class presently has three recognized builders. Molds for fiberglass construction are currently in Sweden and in Nova Scotia and the first new wooden hull since the 1980s, Enigma, was recently launched in Nova Scotia (pictured at bottom).
- The European Class builder is Tjörns Yachtservice on the west coast of Sweden. This yard is owned and operated by active IOD sailor, Lars Berntsson, who has built seven hulls to the exacting one design specifications of the class. Contact: Phone: 0304-661394 EMail: [email protected]
